Hi! I’m Hope. I’m the blogger behind “Teach with hope.” Yes, my site is a play on my name, but it’s not about teaching with me. It’s about going into your classroom each day and using the hope you have for kids to drive and fuel your passion for teaching. It’s a place for teachers to find inspiration and ideas for making learning exciting and relevant for all kids!
I am currently in my 8th year of teaching. I taught third grade for most of my career and most recently switched to first! It has been just the change I needed to stay humble and stretch myself as a teacher. I’m loving everything about the littlest of learners!
I live in the beautiful state of Oregon with my husband and our two children. We live in one of the most beautiful places and love to spend our time camping, swimming, hiking and snowboarding.
In 2011 I opened my Teachers Pay Teachers store and began blogging. I love creating for classrooms and connecting with teachers all over the world!
