I wondered for a while why I just could not find the energy to blog about everything we are doing at school. I mean I always think this is seriously cute, or this is amazing, wow my kids are really getting this I have to remember to share!! Well, for one I can’t seem to remember to take pictures. I am barely making it through
Christmas time is here!!!
I love Christmas time… I mean LOVE IT!! I start listening to Holiday tunes well before Thanksgiving (with must protest from the hubs). My sweet boys birthday is 10 days before Christmas. Usually we go ahead and decorate it up right after Thanksgiving and then for his birthday I un-decorate a bit or hide a lot of it in the garage. As Conner is getting

October is Bullying Awareness and Prevention Month! This week among our Halloween activities we also decorated our bullying t-shirts. We will wear these shirts once a week for the rest of the year. That being said, if you are teaching with the passion of Lucy behind you, what are you using to supplement for her lack of focus on conventions?? At my school we celebrate the Writing Festival a month into the year. This is a time for

Wacky Monday… power outage and more
I arrived at school bright and early, as usual. I was ready to knock out my to-do list. Wellll I walked into a very dark building. Our power was out and teachers were wandering around wondering what in this crazy world was going on. Instead of searching through the dark and making little progress we all headed out for an extra cup of coffee! Much

Went to the pumpkin patch yesterday! We got super lucky with the weather. It seems every year I say “Next year Conner will want to take pictures” and every year he DOES NOT want to to take pictures. Of course I managed to snap a few anyway. However, there was not a single one with his genuine smile. Exciting enough I did get lots of
